February 7, 2012: we are looking for creating a data base of clinical centers interested in participating and/or having an experience in radiotherapeutics clinical development. Some details of your capacities are required. With such a kind of inventory we would be able to start in a faster way phase III clinical trials in a certain area once funding available. December 29, 2011: very bad news: we learned that one of our board members, friend and best supporter of the project, Frank Uytterhaegen, passed away on this December 27, 2011. We will be missing him a lot.
November 25, 2011: during the 40th anniversary of the IRE event, the Oncidium Foundation was presented to the public present for this event in Fleurus, Belgium.
October 26, 2011: Today we (RZ) were honored to be invited for lunch by His Majesty Albert II, King of Belgium, at the castle of Laeken, Brussels, and we had, for a couple of hours, the opportunity to show him all the advantages of nuclear medicine, to discuss about its future in diagnostic and therapy and to introduce the Oncidium project.
June 16, 2011: the by-laws were signed by the administrators at the lawyers office in Brussels. The official recognition as public utility foundation will take about two months and should afterwards be published in the Belgian Official Journal. This procedure allows tax exemption for all fundings independently of the country origin of the sponsor.
